Privacy Policy

Myah is a marketplace that connects brands with UGC creators. It is operated by Bamboo Growth Agency, a company in the United Arab Emirates ("Myah", "we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers myah.dev, the Myah app at app.myah.dev and our blog updates list.

When you sign up.You join early access by creating a Myah account in the app. We collect the details described below under "When you use the app", plus how you found us (for example a referral code or campaign link).

Blog updates. Your email address, if you subscribe.

When you use the app.

• Creator profiles: name, photo, short bio, gender, date of birth, country and city, content categories, social accounts, how much content you make and earnings ranges, and up to five portfolio videos or links.
• Brand profiles: company details, website, logo, description, store currency and teammates you invite.
• Programs and work: applications, invites, sample requests and shipping addresses, videos you submit, reviews, change requests and messages.
• Money: earnings, payouts, payout details and tax information for creators; billing details and charges for brands. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider; we don’t store them.

Sales and ad data.When a brand connects its Shopify store, we receive the order details needed to match sales to a video's tracking link or code, such as order number, value, discount code and date, plus refunds and cancellations. When ad integrations are available, we'll receive performance data for the ads that use creators' videos.

Automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived (including any referral code in a link). Our hosting providers keep standard server logs such as IP addresses.

• To run early access: keep the list, contact you about your place and tell you when Myah opens.
• To run the marketplace: create accounts, show creator profiles to brands and programs to creators, handle samples, reviews and messages.
• To track sales to the right video, bill brands and pay creators.
• To keep Myah secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To improve Myah and understand which channels bring people to us.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR or the UAE's data protection law apply, we use your information to provide the service you asked for (a contract), for our legitimate interests in running and improving a safe marketplace, to meet legal obligations, and with your consent where the law requires it, for example for some cookies or marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.

• Other Myah users, as the marketplace needs: brands see creator profiles, portfolios and submissions; creators see brand and program details. Brands don’t see creators’ payout or tax details.
• Service providers who help us run Myah, such as hosting, database and sign-in, Google (Workspace for our blog updates list, and Analytics), email delivery, and payment and payout providers. They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
• Shopify, Meta or other tools when you choose to connect them.
• Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or Myah.
• A buyer or successor if Myah is sold or reorganised, under this policy.

We don't sell your personal information.

We use Google Analytics cookies on our website, and the app uses cookies to keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the app may not work properly without its sign-in cookies.

Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union. When we transfer data, we rely on our providers' safeguards for international transfers.

We keep blog-update sign-ups until you unsubscribe. We keep account data while your account is open. After you close it, we keep only what we need for legal, tax and accounting purposes (such as payment records) or to resolve disputes, then delete or anonymise it.

We protect your information with access controls, encrypted connections and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong sign-in and tell us if you suspect a problem.

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another service. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email.

Email hello@myah.devto make a request. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Myah is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

We'll update this policy as Myah develops and change the date at the top. For important changes we'll tell you in advance by email or in the app.
